I snorted as my hooves hit the ground with every third beat, as I cantered down to the River. I snorted and threw my head up as I slowed to a trot, stopping right infront of it. The silent, yet powerful wind blew at me, making my mane and tail move with it. I turned my head and flicked my curious ears to where the left then where I lifted them as I turned myself and started cantering along the banks of the river, moving at the same fast pace as it, I skidded to a halt and looked around, my forelock had fallen over my eyes. I was enjoying being here, but how long would I stay? As much I liked it here, I did not wish to stay here my whole life, but at the same time, did I really want to go with another stallion? I sighed and started walked back up the way I cantered.

Storm cantered into Lone River, scanning the area. It really was, like how they said it. A beautiful, relaxing sight. He scanned the area, and spied the mare in the distance. He looked towards her. She was, a gorgeous sight. Storm held his head high, whinnying to her as a greeting to the mare.

I halted immediatly, my ears pricked up, I dared to turn my head to see a horse, a stallion, my ears immediatly flicked back, I stood proudly and strongly. I snorted quietly to myself and let out a small, sharp, short, serious nicker. Staring at the stallion, not with nice calm happy eyes that I had a minute ago, but with serious eyes, with a unexpected glare, I didn't take my eyes from him, I waited to see what he would do, was he a threat like the others? Or maybe for once a nice stallion?

Storm trotted over to the mare, keeping a short distance in case the mare felt uncomfortable with a stallion or another horse around. He bowed to the mare and when he stood up again, he spoke. "I, am Storm. May I know the name of this beauty?"

I looked at him, I knew better from past experiences not to go ahead and trust a stallion because of what they say or do, or to any horse for that matter. Although, I only felt it needbe that I tell him my name. I opened my mouth as my the single word of my name came out. "Angel," I said sharply. I stood there, my ears had hit the back of my head, I flicked my tail at a pesky fly, which flew away after the strong swish. I watched this stallion carefully still, he seemed somewhat trustable, but then again, every horse does when you first meet them.

Storm lowered his head slightly. "That is, a heavenly name,"
He meant it literally, although the mare probably wouldn't care less, judging from her expressions. She seemed like a quiet horse, thinking alot. But that characteristic did seem to appear on everyone.

I laughed a bit, "Does that mean that I would act heavenly?" I asked. I relaxed slightly, but keeping a carefully alert on Storm.

"Nope, but if you do, I don't mind," Storm replied, swaying his tail to keep the flies away.

I snorted in disgust, why would I ever been good or heavenly? I pawed at the ground for a moment. "Hmm. I'm not heavenly at all, actually, the complete opposite," I said and looked at him. I remained calm, he did not bother me in a way that would bother me. The breeze blew and a few leaves of the trees fell off. I watched them, seeing there every detail, from when they broke off, to when they disappeared out of site. I sighed in my head not outloud, I tried relating those very leaves to my life. Them breaking off and going away forever, never to return to that tree. I concentrated back on Storm.

Storm was not surprised or stunned. He did not really care about that. Who would? "So you must be a devil in disguise." he teased.
Storm flicked his ears, standing firm, hearing and sensing every motion.

I laughed lightly, "Just ask some horses I've met in the past, they might think so," I said truthfully. I had relaxed a ton from when I first saw Storm. My ears had now gone back to usually, moving back and forth, listening to what was happening, who might be wandering around. My senses seemed to wonder from Storm and gone back to doing what they were meant to, instead of giving advice to my mind to know whether Storm was a threat or not. I lowered my head slightly.

Storm could hardly hear anything but the sound of the rushing waves along the river. He was calm and still, not having a care for the world.

I looked Storm, my eyes wandered from him to the distance of vast valley behind him. I snorted lightly and looked behind myself at the river. I turned around and stepped into the river. It was fast, but not fast enough to drag a horse to it's death down it. I felt the cool summer water rush past my legs. I lowered my head and touched the water with my muzzle. I drank some. I didn't sit down because of how sharp rocks could be under water. I turned my head and looked at Storm.

Storm whinnied softly at Angel. He would return back to his land soon, but for this period of time, he will be away. Storm settled down on a grass patch, lowering his muzzle as he took small mouthfuls of grass, devouring the lush grass.

I thought about asking Storm a question, I walked over to him, "Do you own land, just out curiosity?" I asked. To be truthful, I really didn't care about land.

"Well, yes, I do. It is not a large piece of land, but I do not intend to have a herd, so I don't think I have a need for a very large area. I own, the Promising Bridge, if you have heard of it before," Storm answered readily. This mare, he could trust.

"Oh, Promising Bridge, I've been there many times before it was claimed, I liked going there and standing on the bridge, beleive it or not," I said, remembering myself standing there and looking at the stream underneath. I looked at Storm, I wasn't sure if it was a good thing, but I was suddenly felt like I could trust him. I daren't sigh as that would bring in questions.

"Yes, it is a place which gives you a calm mind, forgetting all your worries. At least, for me, that is," Storm added. Angel did have a heavenly side of her. He could see that, only Angel has not shown that yet.

I nodded in agreement of what Storm had said. I felt the heat of the sun's beams on my grey coat. I turned to see the river, it had slowed, the sun had been using it's heat to take away the presious water of Lone River. I could feel the land around was starting to dry, some grass away from the river was turning yellow. "Maybe we should go somewhere more moist?" I suggested towards Storm.

"Yes, we should." Storm replied, then suggested "We could make a trip back to Promising Bridge. The air there is cool,"
Storm stood firm, feeling the air getting warm. He awaited Angel's answer.

"Ok," I said and from my memory, started walking the way to Promising Bridge, I would never let a stallion lead me. I turned my head as a walked past some places to see Stom coming. [<-- it may be worded like its powerplay, but i didnt mean any powerplay, i just didnt know how to word it]

Storm trotted after Angel, following closely behind her. He let the mare lead him, trusting that she knew the way, for she probably should. He would tell her if they actually made a wrong turn, anyway.
